Team AliveAndKickn is partnered on both NYC and Houston 5ks and they’re taking place in the next few weeks, so show your hometown pride and make a difference in the lives of those living with Lynch Syndrome and Colon Cancer.  (Not so) Fun Fact - Colon Cancer is the second leading cancer killer.  Lynch Syndrome affects 1 in 279 Americans, which means it’s not rare.  We are raising much needed funds to bring awareness to, and research towards these prevalent yet underfunded causes.  Know your family health history, talk about cancer, get screened, get genetic testing.  

Anyone can participate in person or virtual.  Join one of our teams or get creative. Maybe there will be some prizes at the end for most participants, most money raised, most creative teams, best costume, etc.  Either way, you and your organization will be doing the right things for your friends, your families, your patients, and even yourself.

The Colon Cancer Coalition, partner in our advocacy efforts One of the key goals in our partnership with the Colon Cancer Coalition is a collaborative relationship to help broaden both organization’s reach and better provide Lynch syndrome resources to the colorectal cancer community. To that end, we work hard to have the Lynch syndrome community represented at many Get Your Rear in Gear races around the country.
